VET Regulators

The vocational education and training (VET) regulator (registering authority or registering body) supervises training providers, known as Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), and monitors their compliance with the VET Quality Framework or the Australian Qualifications Training Framework (AQTF) through audits. They will de-register an RTO if it stays non-compliant after audit.

The AQTF is a quality assurance mechanism to ensure that RTOs provide nationally consistent, high-quality training and assessment services to protect the status of the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) qualifications.
